A recent leak from a reliable source has revealed new and exciting content for Genshin Impact’s upcoming Version 5.1. This recent leak suggests new Natlan areas, based around the ongoing conflict with the forces of The Abyss. This update aims to deepen the narrative and enhance the exploration experience.

In a recent update, the region of Natlan brought a fresh bunch of content alongside it. Accordingly, the newest region brought two new world bosses, that offered a new challenge and the ascension resources for the newest characters. Afterwards, the newest characters were Mulani and Kinich being the 5-star characters, and Kachini being the 4-star character. However, it seems that Natlan is going to get even bigger now with new Natlan areas coming in Version 5.1. Furthermore, this update will be building on the foundation established in the Version 5.0.

New Natlan areas highlighting Abyssal corruption

The new Natlan areas as per the leaks

As per the leak, Version 5.1 will introduce several new locations within Natlan that are heavily tainted by the Abyss. The leaked visuals depict dark and ominous environments, clearly showing the Abyss’s escalating corruption. These new Natlan areas are expected to feature more intense Abyssal Pylons and a variety of formidable Abyssal enemies. The visual and thematic elements of these new zones reflect a darker turn in the game’s ongoing story.

The Abyss has been a central antagonist in Genshin Impact, playing a crucial role in the game’s overarching plots. Its connection to the ancient kingdom of Khaenri’ah adds a layer of complexity to the lore. The Traveler’s sibling was revealed to be playing a part for the group as well, further deepening the lore. As players venture into these new Natlan areas, they will gain deeper insights into the Abyss’s ongoing struggle with Natlan’s inhabitants.

Scheduled for release on October 9, Version 5.1 is set to offer players a range of new challenges and content. In addition to the expanded story and new Natlan areas, the update will introduce new world bosses and gameplay elements, providing opportunities for players to test their skills. Furthermore, as Tevyat continues to evolve, it is revealing the game’s world with the Abyss-touched regions. Travelers beware of the dangers of the future.
