A recent Genshin Impact leak has surfaced,
exciting fans
with details about Mavuika, the upcoming Pyro Archonset to debut in Version 5.3.
As a highly anticipated character,
Mavuika’skit has drawn comparisons to popular characters Raiden and Yelan. The leaks hint at a potentially game-changing addition to the roster. Players are eager to see how this new character will fit into the current meta
due to herpotential to surpass established Pyro mainstays like Xiangling and Bennett.
The recent Natlan teaser officially revealed this Pyro Archon, Mavuika.
Known as the God of Word,
she is considered one of the strongest archons in Tevyat.
Previously,
she was only revealed as a 5-star Pyro character brandishing a Claymore weapon.
However,
new leaks reveal more info about
Mavuika’skit.
According to the leak by FouL, (seemingly) Mavuika’s Elemental Skill is versatile, offering two modes
of operation.
When tapped, it applies a buff to the active character, enabling them to perform follow-up Pyro attacks for a set duration.
Alternatively,
if held, Mavuika can infuse her own attacks with Pyro damage,
adding flexibility depending on team strategy.
Her Elemental Burst adds further damage potential, as it generates coordinated Pyro attacks every two seconds, making her a strong off-field damage dealer.
Just these two would’ve been enough for Mavuika’s kit to have a good start!
One of
Mavuika’s key advantages over other Pyro characters is her ability to use Natlan’s Artifact Sets. The
Nightsoul’s blessing
of Obsidian Codex gives her a unique edge,
particularly in team compositions where Pyro synergy is crucial.
The
Natlan’s Artifact DPS set,
Obsidian Codex,
offers 15% increased damage due to Nightsoul’s blessing.
Mostly,
Elemental Skills are the most convenient way of entering the Nightsoul’s state
for the blessing. While Xiangling and Bennett have dominated the Pyro meta for a long time,
Mavuika’s access to these new artifact sets could position her as a more powerful alternative in certain scenarios.
Hypercarry Potential at Constellation 0 – Exploration features
Mavuika’s ability kit also suggests that she can be an effective hypercarry, even at Constellation 0 (C0).
If
paired with other characters like Xianyun, she could serve as a strong main DPS
for teams looking to maximize Pyro damage.
Her consistent Pyro infusion and follow-up attacks make her a viable option for players seeking a new damage dealer
without needing high constellations to unlock her potential.
Beyond combat,
Mavuika’s kit
also stands out for her unique mobility in the open world. The
leak reveals that she will be able to ride a “Phlogiston motorcycle,” capable of traveling over mountains, water, and flat terrain.
This feature could offer additional exploration benefits, making her a useful character outside of battle as well.
While these leaks are not yet confirmed,
Mavuika’s ability kit promises to shake up the Genshin Impact meta. So far it’s offering new possibilities for Pyro team compositions.
Whether she can truly surpass Xiangling and Bennett remains to be seen, but players are eagerly awaiting her official debut in Version 5.3.
She is surely set to shake up the meta at her
expected release date in January 2025.
