Genshin Impact leaks suggest new Nightsoul Trials like the ones in this picture

Recent Genshin Impact leaks have hinted at the addition of two new Nightsoul Trials. These trials are expected to arrive sometime in a future update. The new challenges will reportedly focus on very specific mechanics alike the previous ones. This update will likely continue the ongoing expansion of the Natlan region, which has brought significant changes to the game.

Alongside the introduction of Natlan in Version 5.0, Genshin Impact players were introduced to Nightsoul Trials for miscellaneous rewards. Accordingly, these trials challenged players to use unique gameplay mechanics for completion. Initially, HoYoverse added six different Nightsoul Trials, and ensured players that more would come in the future. Recently, leaks have hinted at two new Nightsoul Trials coming.

New Nightsoul Trials mechanics

The leaks suggest that the new Nightsoul Trials will introduce two unique gameplay elements. One trial, known as the Electro Wayob, will revolve around the Electro-Charged reaction. Players will need to trigger this elemental reaction to deal massive True damage to enemies. The second trial, called the Cryo Wayob, will involve shattering mirrors to find the real enemy. Incorrect guesses could lead to players taking Cryo damage.

These trials are expected to follow the same format as earlier Nightsoul Trials, which focus on completing tasks like interrupting enemies or avoiding damage to clear the challenge. Although, the new trials are still a few patches away, players can anticipate new mechanics and strategies when they eventually arrive.

Upcoming content in Genshin Impact

The new character Xilonen coming before the new Nightsoul Trials in Genshin Impact version 5.1

In addition to the new Nightsoul Trials, leaks have also teased the arrival of a new character in Version 5.1. Xilonen, a five-star Geo character, will use a sword as her weapon and is expected to join the game in the next major update. Version 5.1 is also rumored to bring players back to Sumeru, where the update’s main event will take place.

While the new Nightsoul Trials won’t be available until future updates, they offer a glimpse into the upcoming content for Genshin Impact. Additionally, players can look forward to new challenges, events, and characters as HoYoverse continues to expand the game’s regions and mechanics. Lastly, more information about these trials and other content will likely be revealed as the game’s updates approach.
