Full WWE 2K22 ring entrance list and who each entrance is for

WWE 2K22 has an incredibly long list of premade ring entrances that cover a variety of past and present WWE wrestlers. The problem is that each of these ring entrances uses vague names that allude to which wrestler the entrance is themed on.

They’re not difficult to figure out, in most cases. The “Punjabi Giant” entrance is clearly meant to be the Great Khali, “The Hardcore Reverend” is obviously D-Von Dudley, and so on.

The trouble is that there are well over 200 entrances already in the game, and more likely to come with the upcoming DLC drops for the game. That makes it hard to immediately pick out which entrance to use for throwback versions of established characters or creations based on wrestlers who appeared in past WWE 2K titles. Here is the full list of WWE 2K22 ring entrances, and who they are meant to emulate.

WWE 2K22 has minimal new entrances

Though WWE 2K22 actually saw a major development effort, not much attention was paid to adding to new ring entrances. There are only a handful of new entrances for wrestlers, with many of those being variations on previous entrance animations and designs.

Making matters worse is the fact that many of these new entrances are actually for people that aren’t with the company, or for teams that no longer exist. The Miz and John Morrison got a tag team entrance, though Morrison was released by WWE all the way back in November 2021. The Sonya DeVille and Mandy Rose tag team, Fire and Desire, received their own entrance even though Rose is now in NXT.

Players are still spoiled for choice regarding entrances, with hundreds to choose from. This also still includes a variety of entrances for wrestlers outside the WWE, including Kenny Omega, Britt Baker, and Jay Lethal.

There are also many other random entrances based on DLC versions of characters that weren’t actually based on anything from real life. WWE 2K20 ran a line “WWE 2K20 Originals” DLC that included zombie, cyberpunk, and 1980s-style variants of wrestlers, several of which had unique entrances. Those entrances were moved forward to WWE 2K22.
