Free Bloodhound Frosthaven skin is now available in Apex Legends

Bloodhound turns plague doctor in this new free skin available on Prime Gaming. Here’s how to claim the reward. 

Respawn Entertainment has introduced plenty of free items through Prime Gaming since the battle royale game’s launch in 2019. It’s been a staple feature and continues to bring fresh cosmetics for subscribers. Previously, the publisher has rewarded the players with Legend skins, weapon skin, banners, and more.

Almost all legends have received their custom free skins, with the exception of the latest addition Mad Maggie. The newest card on the Prime Gaming page is for Bloodhound. The plague doctor-like armor is dubbed “Frosthaven” and can be claimed till March 17.

Bloodhound’s Frosthaven skin is quite the opposite of his original style. The ascent of blue adds a cool touch to the rather hotheaded legend usually donned in dirty green and red. The latest skin has a blend of fresh sea colors and a long beak reminiscent of doctor plague. His large mask covers his entire face and wires, making him appear cleaner. Highlights of white further add a minty touch to the technological tracker’s old rusty look. 

How to claim the Bloodhound’s Frosthaven skin

Apex Legends players will first need to connect their account to an account with an active Prime Gaming subscription.

What is Apex Legends Prime Gaming loot? 

EA announced its partnership with Amazon Prime Gaming to bring exclusive rewards for those players with a Prime Gaming account. Each month, a new Prime Gaming skin and other in-game content are released that can only be acquired through a subscription.

Those who can not afford to invest in Apex Packs can wait for these loots and benefit from Prime Gaming rewards for free. It’s a nice perk as it’s only available for those who have bought an Amazon subscription.
