Players can level up their Battle Pass and unlock more rewards with Fortnite’s Week 7 challenges.

Now live on PC, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and mobile, Fortnite’s most recent challenges are quite simple for this week. The free section, available to all players, must complete three challenges: Dealing damage with a pickaxe, visiting two locations in a single match, and checking out three Pirate Camps.

For Fortnite gamers who spent V-Bucks on a premium Battle Pass, there are additional challenges to take on. These include damaging players from above, searching chests in Loot Lake or Snobby Shores, taking out enemies in five specified locations, and dealing damage to enemies while riding a zipline.

Players who have finished all of these tasks will also complete one of Season 8’s Discovery challenges. This earns players a special loading screen tha provides a clue towards unlocking a free Battle Star or banner hidden somewhere on Fortnite’s map.

Gamers who have completed seven weeks’ worth of challenges in Season 8 will receive a free Battle Star. Their Battle Pass will also level up one tier. The Battle Star can be found in quadrant A4 on the giant wooden rabbit. This is between Snobby Shores and Haunted Hill.

Discover Challenge rewards are unlocked when players complete 55 Weekly Challenges in total this season. The reward for this is the legendary Ruin skin, which can be found here

Fortnite players who manage to complete all of the challenges for the full 10 weeks of the season will be rewarded with a Season 8 pirate banner.

There is currently no official end date for Fortnite’s Season 8. Unless there are unforseen complications or delays, Fortnite’s Season 9 release date is scheduled to drop on May 9.
