Fortnite’s $500,000 World Cup Warm Up Cup continues today.

The top 1,500 from yesterday’s three-hour match will now advance to a three-hour period of matches later today. Similar to the Blackheart and Luxe Cups, the scoring system will reward three points for every Victory Royale. Eliminations are worth one point each.

The two-day mini-tournament includes a $500,000 prize divided between hundreds of winners. In the Northeast region, first place awards $4,500. But even 500th place finishers will still receive $200. The prize pool is very similar to that of the Luxe Cup that took place at the end of March.

To qualify for the Warm Up Cup, players proved themselves in the game’s arena mode. Gamers that reached sixth out of the seven divisions, with Champion League being the seventh, were automatically qualified for this weekend’s cup.

This is the final weekend before the first of 10 weeks of qualifier tournaments for the Fortnite World Cup, which takes place in July. The World Cup has over $1 million in prizes on the line each week throughout the qualifiers.

The top 100 solo players and the top 50 duos teams from around the world will compete in the Finals on July 26. This event, being held in New York City, has a $30 million prize pool guaranteeing at least $50,000 to each participating player. The World Cup Solo Champion will receive a staggering $3 million.

Until then, enjoy the Warm Up Cup on the Fortnite Twitch channel.
