It’s official. Fortnite is once again partnering up with the larger-than-life sci fi franchise of Star Wars.
Taking to social media, the battle royale developer has confirmed that it is bringing a Fortnite x Star Wars crossover to the game. The forces will invade all of the Fortnite sub-games, including Fortnite Lego, Festival, and Battle Royale. All of this will kick off on May 3, a day before Star Wars Day.
The short post didn’t reveal more information and was captioned with the famous line from the original movie Star Wars 1977.
This would be the third collaboration, so the scope of in-game skins and cosmetics is limited. Due to previous crossovers, Fortnite is already laden with heaps of
Star Wars-themed cosmetics. So, what will be new this time?
