According to reliable Fortnite leakers, Shaquille “Shaq” O’Neal, the iconic basketball celebrity, is expected to join Fortnite as a playable character. The anticipated release date for the Shaq skin is in October, sparking excitement among fans as the date approaches.

Fortnite leakers and dataminers have pointed Shaq entering the Fortnite universe. Additionally, this is stirring up wave of speculation about the cosmetics and special items that might accompany the skin. Given Epic Games’ history of confirming various leaks, there is optimism that this rumor will soon be verified.

Shaquille “Shaq” O’Neal may join Fortnite’s Icon series

Recently, the rumors around Shaq joining Fortnite have grown. Shaq, also known as DJ Diesel, teased his potential Fortnite collab during one of his DJ performances, posted on Instagram. During his performance, two projector screen displayed what seemed to be an Fortnite skin modeled after Shaq. The Shaq in-game model was spotted wearing a chain and moving behind a turntable. As such, this strongly hints at the introduction of an Emote or related content linked to Shaq’s DJ persona.

Unfortunately, Epic Games has not yet made an official announcement. However, Fortnite leaker ShiinaBR has provided additional updates that reinforce the likelihood of this collaboration. Additionally, fans speculate that Shaq may be part of the Fortnite Icon Series. The Icon series is a collection that features some of the most iconic personalities from various industries. Moreover, speculation about Shaq’s accessories has ranged from basketball-themed Back Bling to emotes inspired by his famous moments on and off the court.
