Oogie's Worm Boost coming over from Rocket League to Fortnite

A new Nightmare Before Christmas collaboration could be heading to Fortnite, with the popular “Oogie’s Worms” Rocket League boost set to make its way to the game. This cosmetic item, which was originally a part of RL, will soon be available in Fortnite’s growing library of unique crossovers. Could this be the future of Wave 2? This is all you need to know.

During Fortnitemares 2023, many Halloween-themed cosmetics were introduced. In the same seasonal event, Fortnite introduced the Epic Jack Skellington skin in collaboration with The Night Before Christmas. With two different styles, excluding the LEGO style, this is still a fan favorite in the community.

Just like last year’s Fortnite collab, Rocket League also collaborated with The Night Before Christmas. This collaboration introduced many cosmetics, including: Oogie Boogie bundle, Sandy Claws bundle, and many more. Some items from this RL collab seem to be making their way into Fortnite in the future.

Fortnite has a history of crossing over with other games as well, bringing exciting content for the players. In a recent leak, it was revealed that the “Oogie’s Worms Boost” from Rocket League will be added to Battle Royale. The Oogie’s Worm Boost is a Rocket Boost for the drivable cars in RL, giving them a speed boost. This crossover is not surprising as both games have done collaborations with each other in the past. The collaborations resulted in special cosmetics, and a separate event in Fortnite

Wave 2 speculations

The introduction of the “Oogie’s Worms” boost to Fortnite has led to speculation that a second wave of The Nightmare Before Christmas cosmetics could follow. Epic Games has previously released multiple waves of content with the same franchises, so this won’t be a surprise. Fans are already discussing the possibility of more skins, emotes, and themed items that could arrive during the Halloween season.

Fortnite has a history of crossovers, meaning that we could see even more Nightmare Before Christmas content in the near future. Speculations suggest it can through additional cosmetics or a special event, making it exciting for the fans of both worlds. Looks like all players need to get ready for a spooky Halloween in the battle grounds… before Christmas, of course.
