Fortnite fans may soon experience a fresh take on the game with a Disney Pixar collaboration featuring characters from Cars. Leaks suggest that popular characters and maps from the Cars franchise could debut in Fortnite’s new Rocket Racing mode, potentially offering players a unique racing experience outside the usual Battle Royale setting. This rumored partnership may help attract a wider audience and add depth to the Rocket Racing mode by incorporating beloved characters, iconic locations, and possibly even character-themed car customization options.

Fortnite expands with Cars characters and new tracks

Fortnite and Cars Colab mock up

This Fortnite collaboration reportedly introduces several Cars characters along with maps inspired by the famous town of Radiator Springs, providing a new environment for players to explore within the Rocket Racing mode. Four racing maps, possibly based on iconic Cars locations such as Radiator Springs and Willys Butte, are expected to be added to the game. This could offer a fresh twist to Fortnite’s current racing lineup, creating a nostalgic experience for fans of Cars while boosting interest in Fortnite’s vehicle-based modes.

This rumored collaboration may also see Fortnite borrowing elements from the Cars series, as Fortnite leaker @SamsLeakss hinted that this is one of the most anticipated events among fans. While earlier collaborations primarily focused on Battle Royale gameplay, the addition of Cars could signify a shift toward expanding other Fortnite modes.

What it might include

Disney and Epic Games’ ongoing partnership

This potential collaboration, between Cars and Fortnite, reflects the deepening relationship between Disney and Fortnite’s developers, Epic Games. Past collaborations have brought popular Disney villains and characters from various franchises to Fortnite. If the Cars crossover rumors hold true, this addition could be part of a broader strategy by Fortnite to appeal to a diverse gaming audience by featuring themes beyond just Battle Royale, broadening its appeal with more character-driven content.

With the Rocket Racing mode being one of Fortnite’s newer features, the Cars crossover might be an attempt by Epic Games to generate lasting interest in vehicle-based gameplay. A previous collaboration with Porsche gave Fortnite players a taste of real-world luxury cars. Now the addition of iconic Cars characters could add both charm and entertainment. This will surely be making Rocket Racing a unique and engaging feature within Fortnite’s evolving universe.
