The newest addition to the LEC, Team BDS, might be eyeing former Schalke 04 players to add to its roster for the upcoming 2022 season.

With this current season coming to a close, offseason rumors have started to flourish and a lot seems to be happening for LEC teams. One of the biggest questions has been which players Team BDS will be fielding after buying an LEC spot from Schalke 04 earlier this year.

It seems that Team BDS has been looking at the former Schalke 04 players who have been up for grabs since the team announced its exit from the top European LoL competition. The two players that might end up playing in a Team BDS jersey next year are support Dino “LIMIT” Tot and young mid laner Ilias “NUCLEARINT” Bizriken, according to Twitter account LEC Wooloo.

According to Wooloo, both players had interest from other teams in the LEC but have decided to join up with BDS after being two of the best performers during Schalke’s final split in the league. If the two players officially join Team BDS, these would seem to be the players that the team will be built around, as the other positions remain undecided.

Former G2 Esports coach Grabbz reportedly joining Team BDS

What is reportedly decided is the coach that will lead the charge for the new BDS team, as it has been reported by several sources that former G2 Esports head coach Fabian “Grabbz” Lohmann will also be joining the team.

If this is true, it’s likely that Grabbz is already working behind the scenes to help build the upcoming roster and that more news will come in the upcoming weeks. Grabbz would be joining BDS after almost four years spent with G2, where he and the players managed to win the 2019 Mid-Season Invitational and four LEC trophies.

Grabbz is an experienced and respected coach that could turn Team BDS into the top team that it’s aiming to be. More information about the Team BDS roster could arrive at any moment.
