Forev joins Team Adroit as stand-in after stint with Fnatic
Filipino organization Adroit Esports has announced that it has parted ways with offlaner Prince Vince “Bensoy” Enriquez. He will be momentarily replaced by veteran Lee “Forev” Sang-don, who will serve as a stand-in.
“Today, we will be releasing Prince Vince “Bensoy” Enriquez. We thank him for his time and dedication given to the team. We wish him good luck in his future endeavors. To fill in the void of the offlane role, we have reached out to Forev to be our stand-in for our on-going and upcoming tournaments. Forev is a veteran with vast international experience having previously played for big teams in The International.“, the organization stated on its official Twitter account.

Adroit was one of the bigger surprises of the last Dota 2 season. Generally overlooked throughout its existence, Adroit surprised fans by qualifying for multiple Dota Pro Circuit majors.
Bensoy joined Adroit Esports on July 16th as a replacement for longtime veteran Jun “Bok” Kanehara who, alongside John Anthony “Natsumi-” Vargas, left the team to join Michael “ninjaboogie” Ross Jr’s project 032. The roster changes did not have the desired effect on the team, as Adroit entered into a slump as the pro scene pivoted to online leagues. The team most recently washed out of the IeSF World Championship 2020 Qualifiers, losing out to Neon Esports.
Forev himself has been teamless since splitting from T1 in late July. He recently stood in for Fnatic at ESL One Thailand: Asia and the BTS Pro Series Season 3: Southeast Asia.
The South Korean is one of the most experienced players in the region, having attended multiple installments of The International and was a standout player on MVP Phoenix during its rise on the international scene. Apart from MVP, Forev has most notably played with Team Secret, Digital Chaos, and Immortals in the past.
It is still unknown when the new lineup will be making its debut, but they are expected to attend the ONE Esports Dota 2 Invitational Jakarta. There, the team will have a chance to see whether its latest addition will bring them the more success than previous ones.
