FaZe Clan’s Frazier “Jarvis” Kaye has been permanently banned from Fortnite.

Earlier today, Jarvis published a video on Facebook to explain that he received a lifetime ban from Fortnite for using an aimbot. The video already has over 1.9 million views.

“Recently, I posted videos of me using aimbot in solos and playground mode. All I was thinking was how entertaining and interesting they’d be for you guys to watch. It didn’t cross my mind that I’d be banned for life from those videos,” Jarvis said.

He went on to emphasize that he had never used any hacks or cheats in a competitive game mode or competition.

“I was oblivious about what could happen to me. It was obviousy a huge mistake and completely wrong on my end. I genuinely don’t know what I was thinking. Cheating in anything is terrible. It’s such a dumb thing to do. I should have paid more attention to community rules and TOS of Fortnite,” he continued, advising his fans to review the terms of services themselves.

As Jarvis began to say that he would never be playing Fortnite again, the popular content creator started to cry. He grabbed a tissue as he went on to say that he’d love the game no matter what.

FaZe Jarvis gets fan support after being permanently banned from Fortnite

In his apology video, Jarvis explained that Fortnite had “changed my life forever.” He described his past two years playing Fortnite as the “best two years of my life.” Because of Fortnite, Jarvis said he was able to not only make a lot of memories and meet a lot of awesome people, but create content for the Fortnite community.

Through tears, Jarvis said that it was hard for him to know that he will never be able to create content for his fans again.

“I know how much you guys love Fortnite and love watching me play Fortnite. You get home from school or work and watch my videos. It’s truly amazing to me. It makes me so sad. I can never go to any other events or be a part of the Fortnite community. I can never meet you guys at future events,” Jarvis said.

The Fortnite player’s comment section was flooded with support. He thanked his fans in the comment section, which only prompted fans to offer even more condolenses for his dire situation. While the video has overwhelmingly positive responses, others felt he deserved the ban for cheating and should have known what the consequences would be.

FaZe Jarvis apologizes to Epic Games

In the final part of Jarvis’ apology video to fans, he decides to address Fortnite’s developers as well.

“Epic Games, I know how big of a mistake I made. I’m truly so sorry. I know I have to take accountability for my actions. I’m going to do my best to accept the punishment. I am not trying to find a quick road out. But being banned forever? A lifetime ban?” he pleaded.

So far, Epic Games has yet to respond to FaZe Jarvis’ apology or make any comments on the situation.

According to Epic Game’s community rules, cheating is, of course, against the rules. Still, there is no clear punishment for a players’ actions like this. The rules state that the consequences are decided on a “case-by-case basis,” determined by severity, repeat offenses, and “other factors.” Epic Games states that they can take action without a warning.

“If your account is permanently banned, the account owner may lose all rights to games, virtual items,  account balances, or other items that you may have earned or purchased. If you have multiple accounts, we may take action against all of your accounts,” the rules state.
