EXTREMUM has finally unveiled its much-speculated Counter-Strike: Global Offensive roster featuring the former 100 Thieves core and Hansel “BnTeT” Ferdinand.Â
The Russian organization has announced its return to CSGO esports with the oceanic trio alongside Joakim “jkaem” Myrbostad and BnTeT. The new setup reunites the former 100 Thieves stars with Aleksandar “kassad” TrifunoviÄ as the team coach.Â

The reports of a mystery organization procuring newly freed agents have been circling for some time now. It seems that a proper lineup has finally been prepared ahead of 2021 season.Â
100 Thieves’ CSGO exit had left a skilful quintet as free agents. While Complexity was quick to pick up Justin “jks” Savage, the remaining four resumed their hunt for a home. The crew of jks, Sean “Gratisfaction” Kaiwai, Jay “Liazz” Tregillgas, Aaron “AZR” Ward, and jkaem had seen numerous podiums for years under Renegades’ and then 100 Thieves’ banner. While their spell at 100 Thieves was nothing to write home about, the squad has the potential to deliver under potent leadership.Â
Fortunately, kassad’s stylish clash with Cloud9 in-game leader Alex “ALEX” McMeekin came at the right time as the coach parted ways with Cloud9 after just three months of signing. kassad had earlier stepped down from 100 Thieves in hopes to assist Henry “HenryG” Greer with his colossus CSGO project.Â
“I am so excited to play CS with my good old teammates Liazz, Grats, Jkaem, and kassad, and with our new teammate BnTeT, who will be a great addition to the team, the boys are back!” AZR told HLTV.
BnTeT completes the squad after settling his one-year stint at Gen.G. The online format didn’t sit well with the organization, resulting in Gen.G’s key players seeking careers in Valorant. The organization’s decision to put the entire roster on the transfer list allowed BnTeT to explore his options, leaving Timothy “autimatic” Ta as the sole player remaining at Gen.G.Â
With AZR as skipper and kassad as guide, the EXTREMUM roster has a tight leadership. Ex-CR4ZY player “â LETN1â “Â TaniÄ will help the two in team office as analyst and manager.Â
While EXTREMUM will complete in the European region, the team plans to travel to North America to show at the Regional Major Ranking (RMR) events to retain their points earned as 100 Thieves. These points may allow the quintet to qualify for the upcoming PGL major.Â
