
The early access for the highly anticipated sequel Town of Salem 2 is about to start. Here is everything you need to know before the release.
Town of Salem 2 is the sequel to the 2014 game with the same title. The game was developed by the indie company BlankMediaGames. It was released for PC and Mac and released for iOS and Android in 2018.
The sequel was announced in April 2023. The game maintains the core of the original with additional mechanics. The game will be released for PC and Mac.
The early access for the game will start on May 26. According to the developer, the early access period will be short, and the full game is scheduled for release at the end of August 2023.
The full version will include, among other things, a Daily Brew system that rewards players on a weekly basis. The early access version will have different game modes, and the full version will include even more.
Other additional content coming with the full version includes cinematics and other improvements necessary.
In Town of Salem 2, 14 players come together as town members. The goal is to eliminate the opposition using any strategy necessary. There are many ways to play and win in the the online multiplayer game.
The sequel includes new roles with their own set of abilities. Players will be able to kill during the day, get extra votes, and even perform blood rituals. Town of Salem 2 includes the new Apocalypse faction featuring the Four Horsemen.
On a technical level, players will be able to ban roles, create private lobbies and communicate more easily.
Town of Salem 2 is currently available to the wishlist on Steam. The final price of the game hasn’t been revealed yet. The developers clarified that the game will keep the same pricing during the early access stage and the full release.
