The Cavern Crawl is a great way to earn free battle pass levels and shiny new skins in Dota 2.

Get ready to revisit your favorite heroes and learn new ones in an exciting way. The Cavern Crawl is available by purchasing the Aghanim’s Labyrinth battle pass in the Dota 2 client. The cavern is a sprawling network connected by unique obstacles and hero challenges. As you win with the designated heroes, you’ll progress through the dungeon and find rewards. From battle pass points to exciting treasures, there are tons of prizes to find.

Here’s everything you need to know about Dota 2’s Aghanim’s Labyrinth Cavern Crawl.

What are the Cavern Crawl rewards?

The most common rewards for progressing through Cavern Crawl are battle pass points. Each network is randomly generated, but they’re all guaranteed to contain 53 small chests and nine large chests. The small ones reward 250 battle pass points and the big ones grant two full levels. They also contain a chunk of Dota Plus Shards. You can earn a total of 15,050 battle pass point from the cavern crawl, equivalent to 15 levels.

There’s also a chance to find helpful tools that will make your Dota 2 Cavern Crawl a little bit easier. Rocket Flares will show you what each room contains and the related hero challenges. Netherswap Wands will change out one hero for another, but be sure to use them sparingly. Pickaxes and Continuum Talismans will clear out obstacles and instantly grant the rewards.

The ultimate prizes are three unique hero sets only available through the Cavern Crawl. The new skins for Faceless Void, Treant Protector, and Bounty Hunter also have an unlockable second style. To earn the new digs, you’ll need to reach the end of the cavern and play a game as that hero. Three style upgrades per set are spread out through its corner of the triplex.

Does turbo mode work for Cavern Crawl?

Turbo mode does work for Cavern Crawl, but players must complete the challenge twice for it to count. The first win will injure the hero and the second will finish them off. Culling Blade items can be used to finish off injured heroes after a single turbo victory.

Turbo mode also contributes towards weekly battle pass quests at half speed. Destroying six enemy wards will only contribute three to the mission, though it thankfully rounds up. According to some users, the half-progression for turbo mode can sometimes glitch out. Some screenshots have emerged of Timbersaws destroying hundreds of trees but only getting a handful for the weekly mission progress.

What are the Cavern Crawl high-value treasures?

The sides of the support, carry, and utility Cavern Crawl trees have a mysterious outpost structure in the corners. These are labeled as high-value treasures, but their name is somewhat misleading. Instead of granting you treasure, it reveals the location of the style upgrades spread throughout the map. This will make it easier to unlock the second style once you eventually earn the hero set.
