A new influencer Pokémon dubbed “Bellibot” has been revealed. Players can meet the new EleFrog Pokémon in the Paldea region.
Pokémon recently announced a new Gym Leader in the Paldea region, Iono, but kept her Pokémon a secret. They gave a few hints, however, which kept trainers wondering what exactly Iono’s Pokémon could be. The Pokémon has now been revealed as Bellibolt.
Bellibolt is an Electric-type frog Pokémon from Pokémon Scarlet & Violet. According to Pokemon, Bellibolt expands and contracts its body to “generate electricity” in a belly button-like organ. It then discharges the electricity from the two bumps on its head that look like eyeballs.
Bellibolt is Iono’s official partner. She is an influencer and streamer with a big personality (and a big jacket to match). Her reveal was met with controversy, with many not liking that she’s an influencer. Despite not everyone liking Iono herself, the community largely reacted with positivity to Bellibolt. The Pokémon’s round and squishy design has many trainers in love.

Bellibolt is now officially in the Pokedex, meaning it’s on the Pokemon website. The entry states that Bellibolt is 3’11” tall and weighs an astonishing 249.1 pounds.
The round and adorable Pokémon is known for the sounds its stomach makes when it’s hungry. While the bumps on the side of its head look like eyeballs, this creature’s actual eyes are tiny. When it tries to be intimidating, Bellibolt will put the large bumps to use.
There is one revealed ability thus far, Electromorphosis. Bellibolt will become charged when hit by an incoming attack. This will boost its power when it goes to use an Electric-type move. More abilities will likely follow suit, but so far, this is all that is known about Bellibolt.
