Cyberpunk 2077 had a controversial release, polarizing the gaming community over its unfinished feel but unique style. Now, the highly anticipated 2.0 update has arrived and it has brought a lot of changes to the sci-fi open world RPG.

After its launch at the end of 2020, Cyberpunk 2077 has been consistently updated as developers attempted to improve the game. Now, three years later, update 2.0 should significantly improve the gameplay experience, providing gamers with the original game they were hoping for.

What is Cyberpunk 2077 2.0 update?

This massive update has brought changes to the entire game, ranging from mechanics and gameplay to customization and AI. It’s the biggest update the game has ever had and it shows.

After updating Cyberpunk 2077, you should notice that the perks, cyberware, and weapons all work differently. The combat is also improved, including a focus on vehicle combat. The interactions with NPCs has also been completely reworked.

The reviews are in and many are saying it’s a “completely new game” due to the size of the update and how different it feels. You’ll notice a new police system — with cop chases and patrolling officers — as well as smarter AI reactions in combat. There’s also been a complete overhaul to the perk tree. The game should also feel a lot more balanced thanks to some background tweaks like NPCs scaling to your level and more.
