A new Dota Underlords update went live on Sunday.

The most recent update of the game introduces a hotfix to the update from August 23. The hotfix changes completely the odds of getting Tier 4 and Tier 5 units at while higher levels.

In the previous patch, the Tier 5 units were available starting at level eight with a 5% chance of appearing. In the recent patch, that number went down, and now Tier 5 units are available starting on level nine at only a 2% chance. The number increases to 3% at level 10 and 5% when over level 10. Players can go to level 11 if they use the Higher Class of Criminal item.

Other changes in the recent patches include Juggernaut becoming a Tier 3 unit. Juggernaut is one of the units that has received the most changes since the release of Dota Underlords. Developers have struggled to balance Juggernaut, but it seems like they finally found a good balance for the hero.

Dota Underlords welcomes two new units

Dota Underlords will welcome two new units soon.

At The International, Valve announced the two new heroes that will join the Dota 2 universe, Snapfire, and Void Spirit. These two new units will also be part of the Dota Underlords when the Outlander patch goes live.

There are no details available about their alliances. As the aunt of Timbersaw, it’s possible that Snapfire joins one of his alliances. Timbersaw belongs to the scrappy and inventor alliances. Other heroes with both of those two alliances are Clockwerk, Techies, and Tinker.

Snapfire qualifies as scrappy and as an inventor. However, she could also join the dragon alliance. In the preview shared at The International, Snapfire was seen riding a cheeky dragon.

Void Spirit might require its own alliance since Storm Spirit, Ember Spirit, and Earth Spirit are not yet part of Dota Underlords.

The Outlanders patch is coming, but its release date is yet to be revealed.
