Dogman gives Atlanta Reign house tour sponsored by Cox Communication

Atlanta Reign has found a new sponsor in media giant Cox Communications.

Atlanta Reign is an Overwatch League team founded by Atlanta Esports Ventures, a joint venture between Cox Enterprises and Province, Inc., a financial advisory firm. Cox Communications is the largest privately-owned telecommunications company in the country, and Cox Enterprises’ largest division.

“There is no doubht that Cox is a great fit for Atlanta Reign,” Atlanta Esports Ventures CEO Paul Hamilton said.

According to Hamilton, the sponsorship will demonstrate the team’s continued committment to esports and their fans. The sponsorship will include Atlanta Reign jerseys featuring the Cox Communication logo and branding. In return, the company will sponsor the team’s home base and training facility during the OWL season.

The Atlanta Reign recently posted a house tour video on YouTube to commemorate the sponsorship announcement.

In the video, support main Dusttin “Dogman” Bowerman leads a cameraperson into the house, starting in an elegant entryway complete with a giant chandelier and two staircases. Team head chef Alex waves at the camera as Dogman leads viewers into the kitchen. The kitchen also features a lot of snacks and “some honey for the honeys.” There’s even protein powder for Petja “Masaa” Kantanen, says Dogman.

But most importantly, the kitchen is home to the “Korean Corner,” which appears to just be a bunch of instant ramen.

“This ramen is called ‘Carpe,’” said Dogman, “Because it’s hot. And it’s chicken.”

The video also showcased a special jersey known as the “community jersey.” Sent to the team from Atlanta, the jersey features over 500 signatures gathered from around the city.

Back outside, Dogman shows off the home’s popular ping pong table. Then there’s the gym, where player development coach Cas van Andel allegedly spends “every second of the day,” including during VOD reviews. There’s also a nice basketball court, but none of the players are particularly good according to host Dogman.

Atlanta Reign are one of the eight expansion teams added to the Overwatch League for the league’s second season. In addition to Cox, the Reign also have Secretlab and Atlanta-based Autotrader as additional sponsors.
