The final Diablo IV Server Slam is happening on May 12, and here is everything you need to know ahead of it.
Diablo IV is the most anticipated game of 2023. The game is officially releasing on June 2, but players get a chance to get their hands on it ahead of the release through the server slam.
For a limited time, one weekend, Diablo IV enables the servers in what is known as a Server Slam. It will open only a portion of the game, and the ultimate goal is to test server capabilities.
The final Server Slam before the game’s release will run from May 12, 12 p.m. PDT through May 12, 12 p.m. PDT. It will be open to players on all platforms, that is, PC, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5. The Server Slam will include the couch co-op, cross-play, and cross-progression functionalities.
During this time, players will get the opportunity to play the Prologue and full Act I. Players can level up their characters to Level 20, but this level, as well as any progress made during the Server Slam, will not carry over to launch. Once the game is out, all players start from zero.
The Diablo IV Server Slam is open to all players. Players who already have the Diablo IV Open Beta on their devices will receive a quick update before the Server Slam.
Players who don’t have it must download the Diablo IV – Server Slam. The early download will open on May 10 at 12 p.m. PDT, so players can jump into the action as soon as the servers open.
It will be available in the Battle.net client for PC players, as well as the Xbox Store and PlayStation Store for console players.
Players must be 21 years of age or older or reach the minimum age for gambling in their respective state and located in jurisdictions where online gambling is legal. Please play responsibly.
