We have a release date for Demon Slayer season 3. We now know what is to come for Tanjiro and the company.

The second season of Demon Slayer wrapped in May of 2022, leaving fans wondering what would happen next in the story. It’s been confirmed that Demon Slayer season 3 will be released on April 9 in Japan.

Demon Slayer fans are in a unique position, considering the manga version is already finished. This means they get to read how the story progresses before the debut of the show. If you cannot wait for it, then you are in luck, go and read it.

Demon Slayer season 3 plot

Demon Slayer season 3 will follow the Swordsmith Village Arc. This is the ninth arc in the original manga, which runs from chapter 98 through chapter 127 in the manga.

The story picks up immediately after the events of season 2’s final episode. Wounded after their battle against Daki and Gyutaro, the Upper Demon Six siblings, the Demon Slayer Corp team must recover.

There is no rest for the wicked. Taking advantage of the situation, the demons are already planning to strike while Tanjiro and his companions are vulnerable.

Tanjiro travels to a village where the swordsmith who made his sword lives. He explains what happened, and while it is getting repaired, enemies show up.

Demon Slayer season 9 will be released on April 9 in Japan with a one-hour special. Fans of the anime already had the opportunity to enjoy the first episode as part of a theatrical screening event worldwide.

Where can I watch Demon Slayer season 3?

There are a couple of options to watch Demon Slayer outside of Japan. The first is Crunchyroll. The streaming platform confirmed that Demon Slayer would be available when the season starts.

In some countries, Demon Slayer is partially available on Netflix.
