Even before Valve’s MOBAxshooter was officially revealed, fans had plenty of leaks to fuel their excitement. Sadly, Deadlock early cheating issues surfaced as cheaters infiltrate the game in its closed alpha testing.

Valve’s latest title, Deadlock, which combines elements of third-person shooters with traditional MOBA mechanics, has been generating considerable buzz even before its official launch. As the closed alpha test continued, this number jumped to over 40,000, according to Steamdb.info. Despite the high player engagement, Valve is facing a familiar challenge: dealing with cheaters. The proprietary “Valve Anti-Cheat(VAC)” software will be employed in Deadlock to eliminate Deadlock early cheating problems. However, the presence of cheats in the alpha test has led some to question the effectiveness of VAC, given its mixed success in other titles.

Despite these early challenges, the enthusiasm for Deadlock remains high. The game’s unique blend of genres has captivated a large audience.
