D&D Honor Among Thieves

The first trailer for the official Dungeons & Dragons movie has been revealed, and many fans are excited by what they’re seeing thus far.

Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves is set to come out in March 2023. The movie was first teased on Twitter back in April, exciting the growing D&D community. But not much was really known about the film at all until now.

Honor Among Thieves released its first trailer and movie poster at San Diego Comic-Con. This gave fans of the role-playing tabletop game more information about the geeky film. The film is about a “charming” thief and a band of “unlikely adventurers” teaming up to find a lost relic. Of course, not everything goes to plan and the rag-tag group runs into “the wrong people.”

Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves trailer revealed at San Diego Comic Con

The official trailer shows a fantasy world filled with dragons and other enemies and creatures D&D players will recognize from the official Player’s Handbook. According to the trailer, the gang of adventurers accidentally release powerful evil into the world after helping the “wrong person steal the wrong thing.”

Now the group of thieves must fix their mistakes by working together like a true Dungeons & Dragons party. They will use strength, magic, and more to fight off an abundance of iconic D&D monsters and original villains.

While the monsters seem to be the main draw of the film, there’s something to be said about the celebrity actors who appeared in the trailer. Chris Pine, Justice Smith, Hugh Grant, Chloe Coleman, Michelle Rodriguez, and more can be seen throughout the reveal trailer.

The film is intended to blend action and comedy, is directed by John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein, the duo behind Game Night.

D&D fans can stay tuned both on Twitter and here on WIN.gg to get more updates about the anticipated D&D: Honor Among Thieves.
