Beyond the Summit is returning to Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.

The tournament organizer has announced its next event, CS_Summit 4. The tournament will bring six top CS:GO squads into the Summit House for a unique broadcast that focuses heavily on player involvement.

Speaking on Twitter, Beyond the Summit revealed that CS_Summit 4 will include Team Liquid, ENCE Esports, NRG Esports, Renegades, Team Vitality, and Ghost Gaming. The event will feature a $150,000 prize pool, though no details were given on the exact distribution.

Long a Dota 2 tournament organizer, Beyond the Summit has since branched out to other games and entered the Counter-Strike space in 2017. Its last CS:GO tournament took place in November at CS_Summit 3, which was won by NRG Esports.

Summit series events often reel in elite competitors but play out much differently than normal tournaments. The players spend their days together in the Summit house, serving as casters and analysts when they aren’t themselves competing. Beyond the Summit also creates unique and often humorous content involving the players in attendance, ranging from Cloud9 critiquing their play in the ELEAGUE Major grand finals to having players from abroad try American snack foods for the first time.

Those unique features are likely to return for CS_Summit 4, but the competitive format is set to change. Previous CS_Summit events have featured eight teams competing in a standard double elimination tournament. With only six competing, this event will require a different approach.

Previous Summit events with six teams such as Dota Summit 9 have featured a round robin group stage followed by a double-elimination tournament, with the top two teams from the group stage beginning in the upper bracket.

CS_Summit 4 is set to begin on May 23 and will run through May 26.
