The DPL-CDA Professional League has given fans some great Dota 2 competition to watch, but the tournament is in its final week of competition. Although EHOME has secured the top spot, four teams remain on the battlefield to fight for seeding.

The matchup between Team Aster and Sparking Arrow Gaming will mark the last series of the tournament. Who will claim the last victory?

Team Aster vs. Sparking Arrow Gaming betting analysis for DPL-CDA Professional League

Sparking Arrow Gaming struggling to come back

Sparking Arrow Gaming seems to be a cut above tier-two Chinese teams, but hasn’t been able to take many games at the expense of the region’s best.

SAG has been competing in the DPL-CDA Professional League Season 1 with this roster:

  1. Zhong “圣子华炼” Liushuai
  2. Liu “白学家” Yuhao
  3. Ou “Op” Peng
  4. Chong “FelixCiaoBa” Wei Lun
  5. Ru “RedPanda” Zhihao

Sparking Arrow Gaming gained serious attention by winning CDA League Season 1, coming out ahead of powerhouse teams such as Vici Gaming, Invictus Gaming, and PSG.LGD. Sparking Arrow Gaming was undefeated for three weeks and that was enough for them to secure the championship title. However, the team failed to repeat the feat in its next tournament, posting a disappointing ninth-place finish at China Dota2 Professional League Season 2.

The team is struggling in DPL-CDA Professional League too, and is currently in ninth place with a 1-7 record. That lone victory came from Newbee via disqualification.

Sparking Arrow Gaming has remained a force in the China Dota2 Development League Season 3 against weaker competition, securing a grand finals spot after an undefeated run in the group stage. Will they bring their A-Game to the DPL-CDA League when there is nothing at stake? Or will they simply focus on the championship game in another tournament?

Team Aster rebounding in DPL-CDA Professional League

Team Aster hasn’t been particularly great recently, but the team can score a win over almost anyone on a good day. Recently, Team Aster defeated Vici Gaming in 2-1 fashion. Team Aster is currently in the sixth-place at DPL-CDA Professional League. With a 4-4 record, the team hangs in the middle of the top seeds and early exits.

Aster’s lineup consists of veteran Dota 2 pros:

  1. Song “Sccc” Chun
  2. Kee Chyuan “ChYuan” Ng
  3. Lin “Xxs” Jing
  4. Pan “Fade” Yi
  5. Ye “BoBoKa” Zhibiao

Team Aster recently finished the OGA Dota PIT 2020 Online: China in fifth place and the CDA League in eighth. Both events saw Aster more or less split wins and losses, something which it is on pace to do once again in the DPL-CDA league.

Fans believed that Team Aster has the potential to be one of China’s top teams, but the team just hasn’t looked the same in online competition. The team claimed a DPC title at StarLadder ImbaTV Dota 2 Minor Season 3 early this year. Team Aster aims to repeat that feat.

Team Aster vs. Sparking Arrow Gaming DPL-CDA Professional League betting odds, predictions

Team Aster and Sparking Arrow Gaming have faced off twice in the past, with Sparking Arrow Gaming winning 2-0 both times. Don’t take that bait, though.

Winners.bet’s line for this matchup is a whopping 1.15 vs. 4.75 in favor of Team Aster. That’s justifiable with SAG looking weak and potentially facing motivation issues for this particular series.
