Gear up! New mobile legend Fade has officially arrived in the Apex Outlands.

Respawn previously teased mobile-first content, which was shocking for many PC players. Despite some backlash, the developer is keeping its word. A brand new platform-exclusive legend has officially been revealed in the Apex Legends Mobile patch notes for Season 1 after some leaks. The new character will enter the squad as the 10th legend, ready to take the Outlands by storm in different game modes.

New prime-time patch notes have revealed that Apex Legends Mobile isn’t a micro-version of its PC counterpart. It has unique features and gameplay, including a legend that is already making waves.

All we know about Fade, the latest Apex legend

Fade is the tenth legend in Apex Legends, exclusive to Apex Legnds Mobile. Also known as Phasing Punisher, his real name is Ignacio Huamani and he belongs to a family of military-tech hunters.

Fade has entered the roster to find justice. While he couldn’t roll back the clock to change his past, he can indeed create portals in the game that grant a second shot at life. His kit looks promising and seems to pair well with the existing nine characters. Here’s everything Fade can do in Apex Legends Mobile.

Passive: Slipstream

Fade gains a short movement speed boost at the end of his slide.

Tactical: Flashback

Fade’s suit rips him backward through another dimension, phasing him to his previous location.

Ultimate: Phase Chamber

Fade throws an activator core from his suit. The resulting explosion phases everyone within the radius for a few seconds, making them unable to deal or receive damage.

What is team fill in Apex Legends Mobile?

Team fill is a new feature in Apex Legends Mobile that allows players to join an active game if another player leaves prematurely.

Connection issues can happen in any game. Often, players disconnect due to internet issues or to purposely ruin the game for others. None of this will matter anymore in Apex Legends Mobile as this new feature will let teams find an instant alternative to a disconnected player.

So far, team fill is only activated in Deathmatch, but players should keep their fingers crossed that it will be added to ranked mode.

What’s new in the Apex Legends prime time patch notes?

Besides a new legend and the team fill feature, Respawn Entertainment has announced weekly challenges, co-op missions, new emojis, and new visual upgrades in the Apex Legends Mobile patch notes.

Apex Legends Mobile players will be able to lock horns in Arena map Overflow. The location’s tight corners and lanes make for a perfect battleground for fast-paced gameplay.
