Remember Among Us? You know, that game with the red imposter? Yes, that’s the one. The meme party game we all played while trapped inside is now getting a TV show. Here’s everything we know about the Among Us animated show so far.

When is the Among Us animated show coming out?

There is currently no release date for the Among Us television show. It was originally announced in June of 2023, and a teaser came out in recent months.

Where to watch

CBS Eye Animation Productions and Innersloth, the creators of the popular social deduction game, are producing the Among Us animated series. Once it’s released, the show will be streamed on Paramount Plus.

Among Us animated show plot

There is no official plot outlined yet, but it’s believed that the Among Us TV show will be heavily inspired by Among Us gameplay.

This means it will revolve around a space crew working to complete tasks on a ship, only to find out that one of them is actually murdering crewmates and sabotaging the mission. The crew must figure out who the imposter is, keep an eye on any suspicious behavior, and argue with other crewmates to get someone booted into space.

Among Us show cast

Owen Davis, the creator of Infinity Train, is leading the series. Titmouse Studios, which brought Big Mouth to Netflix, is the animation studio. As predicted, this means that we are about to get some pretty chaotic action in the Among Us show. Here are the voice actors who have been cast, as well as a first look at their character descriptions, first revealed by Variety.

  • Randall Park (Ant-Man and the Wasp) – Red, Captain of the Skeld. Red is described as a “people pleaser” and “blowhard,” but he’s responsible or leading the crew
  • Ashley Johnson (The Last of Us) – Purple, Chief of Security. Purple is known as the “wet blanket” in the crew and they are very suspicious of cast members
  • Yvette Nicole Brown (Community) – Orange, HR. Orange is being described as a “spineless corporate shill” who is trying to “eliminate redundancy” as crew members complete tasks
  • Elijah Wood (Lord of the Rings) – Green, Unpaid Intern. Green is just “happy to be” on the ship, doing tasks no other crew member wants to do
