Alliance adds 5th player to Valorant team, and it's not kennyS
Alexandre “xms” Forté has been announced as the fifth and final member of Alliance’s Valorant roster.
The former Counter-Strike: Global Offensive player joins from Team Finest, where he only spent one month. The announcement comes days before Alliance is set to compete in the first stage of the Valorant Champions Tour. The Omen player will make his official debut on Friday. and set to join Alliance. The famed AWPer was spotted playing with Alliance’s roster
since being benched
by G2 Esports, which led to speculation that he was set to pivot to Valorant.
xms is best known for his time spent competing in CSGO, where he found relative success playing with French teams. While representing Team Envy, xms managed to win DreamHack Open Atlanta 2017. He stepped down from Heretics’ roster in November, announcing he was switching to Valorant.
Alliance has had a rough start in Valorant. It signed its first roster at the start of the year but parted ways with Lithuanian player Vilius “Krea6on” Malinauskas less than a month into his tenure. The team is primarily known for having CSGO caster James “BanKs” Banks as its general manager.
In a
Twitlonger, xms announced that he has joined Alliance on a three-month trial. “Joking (about the kennyS rumors, ed.) aside I am now happy to announce that I am on trial for 3 months with Alliance and I thank them for their trust. I will do everything to share my knowledge and experience of CS and win as many titles as possible with the team.”
He added a word to his former team.
“Thank you very much for this “short” month with you, I learned a lot about the game but also about the IRL side and I want to say that you are GREAT people and perfect teammates.”
