New skins are the most exciting part of any new Dota 2 battle pass and the Aghanim’s Labyrinth: The Continuum Conundrum Battle Pass is no different.

Dota 2 was due for a big update after The International 2021 and Valve has delivered. Fans get to enjoy a brand new battle pass chock full of new ways to play the game including the return of the titular custom game mode. The classic cavern crawl and immortal treasures are back, alongside two more sets of dope cosmetics. There are all the new skins in The Continuum Conundrum battle pass for Dota 2.

Aghanim’s Labyrinth Battle Pass includes Drow Ranger Arcana, Mirana hero persona, and Hoodwink skin

The Nemestice Battle Pass included three “big” skins in the Davion of Dragon Hold hero persona for Dragon Knight, the Spectre Arcana, and an alternate version of the Invoker hero persona. The Aghanim’s Labyrinth: The Continuum Conundrum Battle Pass does something similar.

The top prize at level 333 in the battle pass is the new Drow Ranger arcana. The skin is an impressive one, despite not completely overhauling the hero in the way fans have seen with the likes of Ogre Magi and Wraith King. The lore behind the arcana sees her transformed by a mask that sees her driven into a frenzy by a mask that makes her aware of alternate versions of herself in other universes.

The Drow Ranger arcana still looks like the Drow Ranger fans are used to, just with an exposed midriff and massive four-armed crossbow. There’s an unlockable style that loses her signature purple color scheme for blood red that can be obtained by scoring revenge kills on enemy heroes.

The Mirana of Nightsilver hero persona is essentially the same as the Davion of Dragon Hold her persona. It’s a hero persona skin based on the version of the character seen in DOTA: Dragon’s Blood, with new voice lines from her voice actress in the show, Lara Pulver. At level 235, players get an alternate style for the hero persona that’s more similar to Mirana’s standard outfit in the game, which was seen in the final episodes of DOTA: Dragon’s Blood Book 1.

Finally, instead of an alternate version of an existing skin, the Aghanim’s Labyrinth: The Continuum Conundrum Battle Pass adds the first skin for Hoodwink at level 277. The Tomo’Kan Incarnate set adds a Japanese mythology flair to the squirrel, and is arguably the best skin of the three.

Aghanim’s 2021 Immortal Treasure

The first Continuum Conundrum chest is full of immortals. It includes new single-piece cosmetics for Lone Druid, Huskar, Zeus, Underlord, Venomancer, and Naga Siren. The rare is a shiny new pair of gauntlets and a hammer for Omniknight. The very rare slots include golden upgrades for the new Zeus and Huskar immortals. The ultra-rare is a lore-breaking, but very entertaining guitar for Doom to wield.

It comes with a custom taunt where he lets out a guitar solo, perfect for chasing down Doom targets limping away from the fight. The cosmically rare option is an emblem that works on any hero. All the new Dota 2 skin chests from Continuum Conundrum use escalating odds, so don’t get disheartened if you only get common drops for your first dozen capsules.

Aghanim’s 2021 Ageless Heirlooms

The Ageless Heirlooms chest contains 10 new full sets for just as many heroes which were likely recycled from past Call to Arms events, given their similar aesthetics to past limited-time game modes like Wrath of the Mo’Rokai and Diretide 2020.

Anti-Mage, Abaddon, Mirana, Pugna, Sniper, Templar Assassin, and Windranger can get new digs at common rarity. The rare for this chest turns Sand King into an eldritch horror with poisonous claws and insect mandibles.

There’s no gold upgrades in the new Dota 2 Ageless Heirlooms chest. The very rare is a templar crusader set for Clockwerk that turns his cogs into sextets. The ultra-rare for Shadow Fiend will be highly coveted. It shakes up his color palette with elaborate blue streaks. The head slot seems to be a reference to Shadow Fiend’s original canine model. This set can also grant the cosmically rare Aghanim’s 2021 emblem.

Aghanim’s 2021 Continuum Collection

The final skin chest in the new Dota 2 update is the Continuum Collection. This Dota 2 loot box contains full common sets for Drow Ranger, Axe, Ogre Magi, Nyx Assassin, Puck, and Tusk.

The rare slot is reserved for Disruptor. The Oglodi war wizard’s iconic mount turns into a stone golem coursing with magic and electricity. The leather muzzle really brings it all together.

Witch Doctor’s ultra-rare Prodigy of Prefectura replaces his quaint doctor’s tool with purple magical crystals. His staff seems to be turning into an Aghanim’s Scepter. For the extremely lucky, it’s possible to pull the emblem out of this case too.

New Dota 2 cavern crawl skins

There’s one more way to get some swanky new Dota 2 skins from the Aghanim’s Labyrinth: The Continuum Conundrum Battle Pass. The cavern crawl is back with a bunch of new twists. Each of the three paths will lead to a new set for Treant Protector, Faceless Void, or Bounty Hunter. Each new cavern crawl skin comes with a second unlockable style that completely remixes the colors.

Bounty Hunter gets a seaworthy suit, Treant looks haunted, and Faceless Void becomes even more faceless than ever before. These last three new Dota 2 skins will give players something to work towards all through the season.
