Pokemon Legends: Arceus is set to release on January 28 next year, but plenty of Pokemon, both new and old, have already been revealed as part of the game.

The game will be a completely new take on Pokemon, as it will be a big RPG taking place in the Hisui region centuries before it became the Sinnoh region from Pokemon Diamond and Pearl. So far, it looks like the game will have a lot to explore and many Pokemon to discover on the journey. It’s still unknown how many Pokemon the Pokedex will include, but after the first trailers, it’s likely that this number will be a few hundred.

In the most recent gameplay trailer released during Pokemon Presents, fans got a deeper look Pokemon Legends: Arceus and its new features, as well as new Pokemon. In this trailer, fans spotted a ton of Pokemon which are now confirmed to be in the game. Though not every evolution of every Pokemon was shown specifically, Pokemon Legends: Arceus is shaping up to have over 150 already.

Unsurprisingly, Hisui is set to have a lot of Pokemon that were previously available in the Sinnoh, but there will also be Pokemon from other generations and even brand new ones that haven’t been seen before. This includes both new Hisuian variants of Pokemon as well as new evolutions of previously established Pokemon such as Basculin.

The question still remains how many Pokemon will actually be in the game, as around 170 have already been discovered just by looking at the trailers. This could indicate that the game will have a big Pokedex, giving players a long grind to “catch ’em all.”

While the game is still several months away and a lot of info is yet to be revealed for Pokemon Legends: Arceus, here are all the Pokemon that fans have discovered so far. It’s expected that more will be added to the list, but it’s also unclear whether the limited Pokedex introduced in Sword and Shield might also be a standard part of the franchise moving forward.
