All five-star character banners coming in Genshin Impact 2.5
All five-star character banners coming in Genshin Impact 2.5
Genshin Impact’s 2.5 banners are a collection of fan favorites and highly-anticipated new five-stars.
Genshin Impact 2.5 has brought a ton of new content to the game. With a new event set in Enkanomiya and two new story quests, there’s plenty of free Primogems to earn. All of that pull material has plenty of great targets, as the banners for 2.5 are shaping up to be very popular. If you’re looking forward to your next five-star character, these are all the limited banners scheduled for Genshin Impact update 2.5.
As of writing, the current five-star banner in Genshin Impact 2.5 is Yae Miko. The electro catalyst-wielder is a dedicated damage support. Her kit ties in nicely with existing Inazuma mascots Raiden Shogun and Kujo Sara. Genshin Impact players looking to create the ultimate electro team will appreciate the return of a very special archon banner later in 2.5.
Raiden Shogun and Kokomi rerun banner coming in Genshin Impact 2.5
After Yae Miko, two iconic Inazuman characters will finally get their reruns.
Raiden Shogun, the archon of electro, will run alongside rebel leader Sangonomiya Kokomi. While enemies in the story, Genshin Impact fans couldn’t ask for a better rerun banner in update 2.5.
The most likely release date for the Raiden Shogun and Kokomi rerun banner is March 9. The exact time depends on location, but banners usually come out in the afternoon for Americans. The four-star characters for this banner are not yet known, but it would make sense for Kujo Sara to appear. Her electro support kit synergizes well with both Raiden Shogun and Sangonomiya Kokomi.
When is Kamisato Ayato’s banner release date?
Considering his recent announcement and absence from the story, Kamisato Ayakato’s most likely release date will be at the end of update 2.5.
With the first two banners of update 2.5 already announced, there’s one more five-star character whose release date is still unknown. Kamisato Ayato, the elder brother of Ayaka, debuted during the 2.5 live stream as a hydro swordsman. His role in the lore is not clear, but his introduction will most likely come with a new story quest and plenty of side content.
Considering that every new five-star comes with a new story quest and interactions, Hoyoverse will need some time to come up with content. The most likely release date for Kamisato Ayato will be sometime in April. His reveal during the 2.5 trailer would also roughly line up with previous five-star showcases. Expect another rerun between Raiden Kokomi and him.
