Alinity talks ASMR meta, Amouranth and indiefoxx Twitch bans
Alinity talks ASMR meta, Amouranth and indiefoxx Twitch bans
Twitch streamer Natalia “Alinity” Mogollon is no stranger to controversy but even she has had enough of the new “meta” taking over the streaming platform.
After Twitch got into hot water over the “hot tub meta,” the company decided to create an entirely new category dedicated solely to women wearing bathing suits in blow-up pools. This immediately earned criticism from popular streamers in the community, who felt that Twitch was actively promoting sexually explicit content on the platform.
Things progressed, or at least shifted, earlier this week when streamers and OnlyFans models Kaitlyn “Amouranth” Siragusa and Jenelle “Indiefoxx” Dagres started flooding their streams with sexually suggestive ASMR content. This included Amouranth laying on all fours while licking a mic and Indiefoxx farting into the microphone when asked to.
Twitch finally decided this was a problem and
banned both streamers. Amouranth and Indiefoxx were seemingly unbothered by the punishment, knowing that their bans will be short and no further consequences will take place. The sexy streamers have been banned many times in the past, far surpassing Twitch’s previously rigid “three-strike” rule. As Twitch’s inconsistent punishment and blatant favoritism continue, Alinity chimed in on the matter.
“I think the meta is to try and push sexual behavior as much as you can while pretending like it’s not being sexual,” Alinity commented.
Popular Twitch streamers Matthew “Mizkif” Rinaudo and Mitch Jones invited Alinity onto a recent stream to discuss the emerging ASMR meta.
“I wanna understand why the meta keeps shifting from hot tubs, to now it’s like ASMR and yoga pants…Like what is this?” Jones ranted.
But with Twitch clearly not setting any clear boundaries for sexually suggestive content, Mizkif and Jones decided that the best option for streamers was to “get in early” on emerging new metas. Their plan? Get 10 “hot girls” to play volleyball in Mizkif’s backyard as they commentate. This would put them in the “Just Chatting” category, tricking Twitch at their own game. Alinity even volunteered to be one of the girls.
Only time will tell if Mizkif and Jones actually decide to push Twitch’s boundaries and find nine more girls to get in on their plot.
