Alinity is considering platform switch after Twitch ban

Alinity

Alinity has been banned from Twitch allegedly for twerking, and it seems that a platform switch could be on the cards.

Twitch has stringent TOS to ensure the platform’s content is safe for kids above 13. For this reason, many streamers get banned over trivial mistakes. This time, Natalia “Alinity” Mogollon has found herself under Twitch’s ban hammer, and she’s not taking it too well. The streamer is considering taking her business “elsewhere,” whatever that entails.

On May 30, Alinity took to Twitter to confirm that she’s been banned from Amazon’s streaming service. And while her previous cat-throwing incident and NSFW wardrobe malfunction garnered community criticism, the Twitch community seems to be on her side this time. According to Alinity and her fans, the ban was unfair.

The alleged video that got her banned is not worse than some of the existing content on Twitch, Alinity claims. The video in question is of Alinity twerking to DJ Ariathome singing “Booty so big that Twitch wanna ban it.”

The short clip does seem less risque than the accident that got Alinity banned in 2020. Alinity’s twerking video has earned her a ban of three days, whereas, in 2020, she was banned for one day for accidentally exposing her breast. The contrast in ban length isn’t sitting well with Alinity, who’s threatened to switch platforms.

“Got banned on Twitch for TWERKING. Yes, really. What a bullshit ass platform, thinking of taking business somewhere else,” Alinity said.

Her Tweet has already gotten a response from Rumble, Twitch’s competitor, which is home to the likes of Kai Cenat, iShowspeed, and more. Alinity did consider the offer, asking how much the platform would pay. But, the conversation likely moved to DMs.

Whether Alinity switches over or not, fans are upset with Twitch for delivering a harsh ban.
