Call of Duty: Warzone has a cheating problem and big-name streamers are getting sick of it.

FaZe Clan content creator Nick “NICKMERCS” Kolcheff recently commented on the dire situation in a recent video. Titled “Is Warzone DYING?” NICKMERCS agreed with the Warzone community that the game is “falling off.” The biggest problem? Cheating and hacking.

“It has become relentless and there’s no light at the end of the tunnel,” NICKMERCS said.

NICKMERCS explained that many popular content creators have stepped away from Warzone due to the cheating and have started playing other games. NICKMERCS himself even went back to Fortnite, fed up with the frustration of dealing with cheaters in almost every Warzone stream.

“They’re sick of it and I don’t blame them,” NICKMERCS said.

While he called Warzone a “beautiful” game with a great foundation to build on, the lack of anti-cheat has continued to make the game unplayable. The game has become so exhausting for NICKMERCS that he stated he’s “sick of this shit.” He likely isn’t alone.

The popular battle royale has been a huge success by all metrics, but players have continuously called on developers to do something about cheating. While developers have released multiple ban waves, it has done little to make an impact, with hackers still being a steady presence in the game. Most players claim they run into cheaters 50% of the games they play, especially at higher levels. This has led to a “serious lack of integrity,” according to NICKMERCS.
