Ninja will soon have his face on Red Bull Energy Drink cans
Famous Fortnite personality Tyler “Ninja” Blevins can now add Red Bull Energy Drink cans to the list of products his face is plastered on.
Red Bull announced that Ninja will appear on a limited edition can, available nationwide from April 1 to April 4 in four-packs and 12-packs. This comes soon after Wicked Cool Toys revealed a Ninja toy line, complete with plushes, wigs, and collectible figures. There are also Mystery Boxes, perfect for making potentially viral unboxing videos.
Red Bull also launched a social media contest for fans with a meet-and-game session with Ninja on the line. Starting April 1, contestants can share a photo of video depicting “how they game,” from gaming desk setups to victory dances. Winners will be selected based on creativity, authenticity, and general aesthetic.
Second through fifth-place entrants will receive a Ninja-branded NZXT Gaming PC, plus their own Ninja headband. Sixth through 20th-place winners will take home a Ninja-branded backpack,and the coveted Ninja headband.
Red Bull first signed Ninja in June of 2018. Ninja announced the partnership live on stream, donning a Red Bull headband and discussing the Red Bull Rise Till Dawn Fortnite duos tournament that took place later in the year in Chicago. The event was officially booked within minutes of Ninja’s announcement.
Ninja is the second star to appear nationally on a Red Bull can since Neymar Jr. in February 2018.
“This has been a year beyond my wildest dreams and a big part of that has come from joining the Red Bull family. To get my own Red Bull can is more than I could have ever imagined,” Ninja said.
