Best Risk of Rain 2 mods

So what are the best mods to use in Risk of Rain 2? The answer to that question will vary from person to person as there is a slew of options to choose from. Here are some that should provide value to the majority of active Risk of Rain 2 players.

ItemStatsMod by Ontrigger

The ItemStatsMod does exactly what it sounds like, improving the tooltip pop-up to give more information when changing equipment. To be frank, this is something that should have been included in the game by default. Thankfully, Ontrigger stepped up to fill that gap and give players a great UI improvement.

BetterUI by XoXFaby

This mod by XoXFaby offers exactly what its name suggests. It provides a much smoother experience when navigating the menus in a way that probably shouldn’t require mods. This one will save a lot of headaches, so make sure to pick it up.

EmptyChestsBegone by TheRealElysium

Looking to remove some of the clutter in Risk of Rain 2? This will help with that by getting rid of containers once they’ve been emptied. While this might not sound strictly necessary, Risk of Rain 2 doesn’t do an especially good job of signifying whether a box or chest has been emptied out. This will help players avoid frustrating backtracking for an item they’ve already acquired.

So don’t hesitate to dive into the world of Risk of Rain 2 mods yourself. You never quite know what you might find.
