You can finally rush B on Dust 2 with this smoke lineup
Dust 2's B site has changed quite a bit over the last year and that has come at the expense of the terrorist side. This quick smoke lineup may help create unique plays around the B site that will make things a bit easier.
Last year, Valve tweaked the site and flipped the double doors, giving Counter-Terrorists a very powerful angle over the entrance to the site. This allows the CTs to send only one player to the B site and stack the A site with very little downside. The minor tweak heavily tilted the map in the CTs' as even if the player working doors gets forced back, AWPers can easily add some extra firepower from mid.
The only way to neutralize this defensive setup is good utility usage. This smoke grenade lineup neutralizes mid AWPers and can force a player at double doors into a riskier position.
The lineup was used to great effect by Virtus.pro's Alexey "qikert" Golubev, and it begins from A short. It's a high-risk, high reward doors smoke that is a bit tricky to master. However, it's such a powerful smoke that it's potentially worth mastering.
While running towards catwalk, throw a flash towards mid to blind the enemy behind doors and equip your smoke. Place your crosshair on the corner of the tall building and jump-throw the smoke as soon as you near the right-side window on A short. You may want to have a jump bind to pull off this one. The grenade will bank off the wall at the back of the map and bounce to the B-site double doors.
The lineup heavily isn't foolproof, as it's most effective with some teamplay and does have varied effectiveness depending on the player's ELO. This is a powerful smoke, but it may put you in danger in solo lobbies where there is always an AWPer watching catwalk. This also can't be spammed every round in high-level lobbies as players can block off the grenade to prevent it from reaching all the way to double doors. However, it's a powerful tool in both early and late situations and can force teams into rethinking any A-side stacks.
All in all, this is by far the quickest and still one of the safest ways to flush out double doors. You may want to practice your movement and be super fast on the catwalk to stay safe and support your teammates rushing B tunnels.
