Forsaken

New Valorant skin bundle Forsaken coming for Operator, Vandal

Valorant's upcoming Episode 2, Act 3 will bring a bundle of new premium skins named "Forsaken."

Valorant weapon skins can carry a large price tag. The skins are available for a limited time, which is why it's recommended to stay in the loop, save up some cash, and buy a bundle as soon as it hits the store. The new skin bundle is dubbed Forsaken, and it will be available in the Valorant market with the release of Episode 2, Act 3.

After delivering minimalistic cosmetics for weapons, the developer has gone all-out with the brand new Forsaken bundle. The Episode 2, Act 3 collection looks a lot like the Reaver skin bundle, a major hit among the Valorant players. The Forsaken skins will likely be in vogue long after the release of the new act.

When will the Forsaken skin bundle release?

The bundle will be revealed in the Valorant store on April 27, with the Episode 2, Act 3 update. The Forsaken collection will be worth the standard PE rate of 7,100 Valorant points, which translates to roughly $82.

The bottle green skins feature a unique theme of dense forest and castle in ruins. While the skins look like a love child of Sovereign and Reaver lines, it has much darker undertones. The weapons are beaming with green, electric-like veins on a dark green background—antique grey design traces up the skins, adding a sovereign touch to shabby weapons.

Art Lead Sean Marino emphasized that Sovereign was the main inspiration during the process of creating Forsaken.

"We approachedForsaken to be the dark side of Sovereign, which meant it was still beautiful and delicate like Sovereign, but dark, edgy, and ultimately tragic," he said.

The wicked but regal skin bundle will be available for all critical weapons in the game. Forsaken comes for:

  • Vandal
  • Operator
  • Spectre
  • Classic
  • Forsaken Ritual Blade (melee)

The bundle will also include a card, gun buddy, and spray. Like other Premium skins, the bundle will have visual effects, audio, variants, a kill banner, and a finisher. The weapons are also upgradeable and can be enhanced up to five levels, which include:

  • Level 1: Model with custom ADS reticle and custom bullet ejectables
  • Level 2: Custom muzzle flash VFX and fire audio; idle gem effect
  • Level 3: Custom equip VFX/Audio (cracks appear); custom reload VFX/Audio(cracks appear); custom inspect audio; gem reacts on kill
  • Level 4: Kill Banner and Finisher
  • Level 5: Chroma with gold model and blue VFX (v1); Finisher and Kill Banner are themed based on Sovereign skin.
