Faker

Watch Faker wipe out four enemies on Akali with a clutch TP

T1 mid laner Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok is back at it again with another solo queue outplay broadcast live on stream, this time making use of a perfect teleport play on Akali.

The superstar mid laner was playing Akali during a recent solo queue game and saw a perfect opportunity to teleport to his bot turret and interrupt a dive from the enemy team. The dive quickly turned into a bad play for his enemies, as Faker made his grand entrance to clean up the enemies stuck under fire from the turret.

As Faker completed his teleport to the bot lane, his opponents had already gotten the two kills they came for. But Faker would make them pay a great price. By using his first charge of Perfect Execution (R), Faker caught up to the low health Senna and tagged her with Shuriken Flip (E). Before finishing the Senna, Faker managed to execute Kai’Sa with the second cast of Perfect Execution before jumping back.

The two kills happened very quickly despite the distance between the two opponents. With two kills already in the bag, Faker could take out Twisted Fate before chasing down Graves for the final kills of the fight. It took a while to catch Graves, but in the end, Faker secured the delayed quadra kill.

Faker ended the game with a solid scoreline of 6-1-2 in a win that only took 16 minutes to close out. Faker and the rest of his team showed exactly how cleanly a game can be snowballed in solo queue to ultimately force the opposition to surrender as soon as possible. On the other team was Afreeca Freecs support Son “Lehends” Si-woo, who didn’t have a fun time on Senna with a total of eight deaths.

Faker will be back on the professional stage when the 2021 LCK Summer Split kicks off after the 2021 Mid-Season Invitational.

What rank is Faker?

Faker is currently ranked in Masters on the Korean solo queue ladder with a total of 34 LP. Faker has played a little over 600 games this season on his famous account “Hide on bush,” but isn’t exactly at the highest ranks in Korea as some would expect. A reason for this might be because Faker is practicing different champions and streaming most of his games. As of late, Faker has been playing some games on the newest champion Gwen and has been doing very well.
