These are the teams participating in the F1 Pro Series 2021
These are the teams participating in the F1 Pro Series 2021
The best Formula 1 esports series is back for 2021, as the 10 best teams in the world will compete for the coveted trophy.
It’s the F1 Pro Series 2021, which will crown the best virtual driver of 2021. Just like last year, players from all over the world can qualify through online play, but only the best will make it that far. Going through the qualifications, players compete for an invite for the Pro Draft. At the draft, the 10 participating teams will be able to pick up new players for the F1 Pro Series.
Here’s a look at the teams that will participate in the F1 Pro Series and how to get there.
Who are the teams for the F1 Pro Series 2021?
The teams for this year’s F1 Pro Series will be very similar to the 2020 season, albeit with a few changes. The defending champion Red Bull Racing will once again compete and look to retain the title and chase the drivers’ championship.
The defending drivers champion, Jarno Opmeer, will also look to defend his title, but this year it will be under the Mercedes-AMG Petronas Esports banner.
The biggest challenger this year might be FDA Esports Team, who will have former champions Brendon Leigh and David Toniza on the team.
For this year, there will be a big rebrand to keep an eye on. The team formerly known as BWT Racing Point will rename to Aston Martin Esports and will be looking to improve relative to last season. Haas F1 Team Esports has also made some changes by taking on Romain Grosjean’s R8G Esports to manage the team.
The F1 Pro Series 2021 teams:
- Alfa Romeo Racing Orlen F1 Esports
- Aston Martin Esports
- FDA Esports Team
- Haas F1 Team Esports
- McLaren Team Esports
- Mercedes-AMG Petronas Esports Team
- Red Bull Racing Esports Team
- Renault Vitality
- Scuderia Alphatauri Esports Team
- Williams Esports
The drivers for each team aren’t set in stone yet. With three drivers per team, there will be plenty of room for changes before the season kicks off. Most important will be the Pro Draft, where all of the teams get a chance to pick up some young talented drivers that have made it through the qualifiers.
How do you get into F1 esports?
Everyone can get into F1 esports as long as they have the latest official F1 video game for either Xbox Live, PlayStation Network, or Steam. Getting all the way to the F1 Pro Series will be a long journey, but anyone has the chance to get there through the open qualifiers. Players who manage to move through the qualifiers will have a chance at being drafted by one of the 10 F1 Pro Series teams for the coming season.
It’s only a matter of booting up the game and going through the online registration process, then you’re good to go.

This is less because of a lack of creativity or skill, but more because lesser-known developers don’t usually have the required backing to come into the spotlight. Fortunately for Degen Lab, Stake has partnered to ...
