Tired of dying to AWPers camping B-site coffins on Inferno? Nikola “NiKo” Kovač has the perfect recipe to tackle the issue.

Inferno’s B site becomes a lion’s den if the enemy team has a skilled AWPer watching banana. Opening the area becomes almost impossible without proper utility and sacrificing at least one teammate. The narrow entryway doesn’t give the T side many options and provides the AWPer with an advantage to block the rush.

A crafty molotov or smoke grenade can rectify the situation, but taking too long to line up a grenade can get you killed in banana. NiKo’s approach in a recent game against against Fnatic shows that he has known the solution for years. NiKo swears by this lineup as he also added it in one of his utility guides. It seems that the star player is just as brilliant at throwing smokes on the fly as he is at aiming.

NiKo makes this complicated smoke look simple, but it may require tons of practice since you don’t get to stop and take measurements. Messing up a smoke as crucial as this one can cost your team an entire game, so you may want to spend some time in a custom server. Here’s how you can replicate it in 128 tick servers.

Running in from the terrorist base, keep your aim under the balcony and move towards the left side of the wall. As soon as you hit the wall’s corner, equip your smoke and walk inside the little cubby. Don’t go too deep in.

Keep a close eye on your crosshair under the balcony while walking forward. Release the smoke as soon your crosshair hits the bottom corner of the gallery.

The smoke will land close to the ruins, blocking enemies standing atop coffins. This blockage will reduce the number of angles teams have to worry about when pressing onto B site. You can also use this smoke in 64 tick servers with some tweaks here and there.

Why did NiKo leave FaZe Clan?

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive professional player NiKo left FaZe Clan in 2020 to join G2 Esports as the rifler. The 24-year old had mentioned his reservations over being the in-game leader for FaZe Clan multiple times, but remained in the role for an extended length of time. In one of his interviews, NiKo explained that besides the IGL issue, his wish was to play alongside his cousin Nemanja “huNter-” Kovač. The pair were united on G2 as the organization moved away from its all-French tradition.
