Schalke 04 support Dino “LIMIT” Tot ran away with all the glory in his team’s win against Vitality after outplaying Juš “Crownshot” Marušič on Alistar.

The last week of the 2021 LEC Spring Split has a lot of great storylines to follow, but the best play of the week might have already happened in Schalke 04’s critical win over Vitality. In the dominant win by Schalke, LIMIT managed to outplay Crownshot in a way that hasn’t often been seen before. Crownshot was playing Tristana and tried to escape a bad fight with Rocket Jump (W), but LIMIT was several moves ahead of him and managed to predict it all.

The outplay happened in a split second, with several different mechanics and reactions involved. After Crownshot got caught between bot laner Matúš “Neon” Jakubčík and LIMIT in the top lane, there was only one way to get out and that was jumping towards his own Krug camp. Unfortunately for Crownshot, LIMIT read the play and quickly used his Hexflash to get over the wall and catch Crownshot.

Tristana is a very mobile champion and Rocket Jump plus Buster Shot (R) is usually enough to disengage any sort of danger. In this case, it wasn’t enough as LIMIT hit the perfect timing to interrupt Crownshot’s Rocket Jump and punch him back into the arms of Neon with a perfectly timed Headbutt (W). From that point on, Crownshot didn’t have more tools to get out and had to take another death.

LIMIT and Crownshot are former teammates from their time at SK Gaming, but in 2021 they are fighting against each other. So far, LIMIT is clearly coming out ahead as he and Schalke are still in the race for playoffs. Crownshot and Vitality, on the other hand, are no longer in playoff contention.

Schalke has a single game left in the regular season against Excel Esports, and a win is crucial. With a score of 8-9, Schalke is very close to securing the coveted playoffs spot, but it’s not locked in just yet. It’s looking bright for Schalke though, as the team is entering its last match on a three-game winning streak after some rough weeks in the middle of the split.

Who is LIMIT in LoL?

LIMIT is a 23-year-old support from Croatia who entered the professional scene in 2018. After a mixed season with SK, LIMIT was picked up by Schalke 04 for the 2021 season.

Who is playing for Schalke 04 in the 2021 LEC season?

After a turbulent 2020 season, Schalke 04 made a few roster changes for 2021 with the goal of becoming a real dark horse in the LEC. This included picking up LIMIT from SK Gaming and Sergen “Broken Blade” Çelik from TSM.

The Schalke 04 2021 LEC roster is:
