Paul also created a boatload of content surrounding a fake feud with his brother, Jake. Both of them wrote diss tracks towards each other and then made music videos surrounding the imaginary drama. The brothers have been under fire for creating poorly received music and later attempting to enter the sport of boxing.

Despite his audience being mostly children, Paul isn’t a stranger to controversy. He was severely criticized for showing a dead body in Japan’s “Suicide Forest.” His apology only seemed to make things worse. He was then accused of animal abuse after tasing two dead rats and giving CPR to a fish.

In response, YouTube suspended Paul’s ad revenue due to a “pattern of behavior.” Since then, Paul has decided to turn a new leaf. He started a podcast, “Impaulsive,” and started filming Pokemon TCG unboxing videos. The latter has gotten him in hot water with the Pokemon TCG community, who feel he has severely inflated the market by making false claims about the price of cards he pulls.
