Team SoloMid continued to climb in the LCS standings with a victory over Echo Fox.

Sergen “Broken Blade” Çelik had yet another outstanding performance that contributed to TSM’s victory.

Making his debut in the LCS, jungler James “Panda” Ding made sure Echo Fox had a stable early game. Every time TSM’s Matthew “Akaadian” Higginbotham tried to get aggressive, Panda was ready to respond. At the same time, he was able to go for his own assertive ganks around the map and helped Echo Fox to secure neutral objectives.

This proactive attitude from the rookie jungler put his team in a comfortable position and TSM was forced play from behind. In the mid lane, Echo Fox’s Kim “Fenix” Jae-hun neutralized Søren “Bjergsen” Bjerg, and TSM made the call to get out of the lane phase as quickly as possible.

TSM went for an aggressive approach, roaming the map in search of team fights. Echo Fox was not interested in fighting and consistently disengaged until TSM’s Akaadian stole the baron from Echo Fox’s hands while top laner Broken Blade was split pushing and breaking into the Echo Fox base.

With an exposed nexus, Echo Fox couldn’t leave their base and assumed a completely defensive position. At 35 minutes, TSM secured their second baron, but the match was far from over.

The late game remained tense. Broken Blade and Bjergsen waited patiently for an opening while the rest of the squad looked to initiate fights. Echo Fox managed to move out and secure an elder drake to help stay afloat.

At 47 minutes, TSM decided to pull the trigger and go for a third baron plus an elder drake. A continued split push from Broken Blade in combination with winning the two buffs was enough for TSM to finally claim victory at 50 minutes.
