After issues with a North American visa, Team Liquid’s new jungler Lucas “Santorin” Larsen has finally arrived in Los Angeles and can join his team in the LCS Lock In.

Liquid recently announced that Santorin wouldn’t be making it to the start of the LCS Lock In tournament, which resulted in Liquid having to start former Team SoloMid jungler Jonathan “Armao” Armao instead. Luckily, Santorin has now officially arrived and will be able to play and practice with his new team soon. So far, Liquid has only played a single game at the tournament.

Despite Santorin traveling to North America late, Liquid started out the LCS Lock In tournament in style. As one of the favorites to win the whole tournament, Liquid started out by beating CLG in a convincing fashion in just 25 minutes. CLG was also hit by visa issues for the match, as both jungler Mads “Broxah” Brock-Pedersen and top laner Finn “Finn” Wiestål couldn’t make it in time.

A player who did make it to North America in time is Liquid’s new top laner Barney “Alphari” Morris, who got off to a great start in his first LCS game. Alphari was placed on Camille and he managed to roll over CLG with a 7/1/2 scoreline, giving fans early hope that he was the right pickup.

Another player who impressed was the young bot laner Edward “Tactical” Ra, who had a great ending to the 2020 season with Liquid. Tactical is now one of the older members on the team and is already starting to show signs of improvement in 2021. With Santorin making it to the roster soon, Liquid is looking like a scary candidate to make it far in the LCS Lock In.

Liquid’s next match in the LCS Lock In will be against 100 Thieves on January 17.

When will Santorin play for Team Liquid?

While Santorin is finally in Los Angeles with the Team Liquid squad he won’t enter Summoner’s Rift with his team before Friday, January 22, when they clash with TSM. According to head coach Josh “Jatt” Leesman, Armao will play the next two games in the LCS Lock In while Santorin gets adjusted to jet-lag and practice.

What is the Team Liquid LCS roster?

The 2021 LCS roster for Team Liquid is looking stronger than ever with two new star-play additions to the squad. Liquid has once again been paying big money to be one of the top dogs in the LCS.

The Team Liquid 2021 LCS roster:

  • Top – Barney “Alphari” Morris
  • Jungle – Lucas “Santorin” Larsen / Jonathan “Armao” Armao
  • Mid – Nicolaj “Jensen” Jensen
  • Bot – Edward “Tactical” Ra
  • Support – Jo “CoreJJ” Yong-in
