The 10 LCS teams are gearing up for the first-ever LCS Lock In tournament, a new event that kicks off the 2021 season. Here are the two groups and the format for the tournament.
Not only will the 10 LCS teams get warmed up and test out their new rosters for the 2021 Spring Split start, but there’s also $150,000 on the line for the best team. Ahead of the tournament, two groups of five teams have been drafted and this is the result.
To help draft the groups, Riot had placed Team SoloMid and FlyQuest in each group as the two best teams from the 2020 LCS Summer Split. The recent offseason has been hectic for the entire LCS, leaving a lot of question marks ahead of the season's start. The LCS Lock In kicks off on January 15, starting out with a match between TSM and 100 Thieves.
The full schedule can be found on Lolesports.
