Here are the LCS Lock In groups and full schedule

The 10 LCS teams are gearing up for the first-ever LCS Lock In tournament, a new event that kicks off the 2021 season. Here are the two groups and the format for the tournament.

Not only will the 10 LCS teams get warmed up and test out their new rosters for the 2021 Spring Split start, but there’s also $150,000 on the line for the best team. Ahead of the tournament, two groups of five teams have been drafted and this is the result.

LCS Lock In groups

To help draft the groups, Riot had placed Team SoloMid and FlyQuest in each group as the two best teams from the 2020 LCS Summer Split. TSM started out by picking a team for the opposite group and so forth. This resulted in two groups, where TSM clearly opted to play against Team Liquid instead of Luka “Perkz” Perković and the rest of Cloud9.

Going into the tournament, both groups look very strong. Because of the drafting system, the groups should be fairly even but it’s still impossible to say for certain without seeing these new lineups in action. The recent offseason has been hectic for the entire LCS, leaving a lot of question marks ahead of the season’s start. In fact, all 10 teams have made changes, so it will be a matter of which team has managed to build up the best synergy so far.

The LCS Lock In kicks off on January 15, starting out with a match between TSM and 100 Thieves.
