Rogue recently revealed its new rebrand before heading into the 2021 LEC season and other tournaments surrounding the organization’s esports activities.

As the 2021 esports season is about to start, Rogue has decided to launch a rebrand to start the year off fresh. Rogue revealed the rebrand on Twitter with a hype video, presenting a new and modernized logo. The logo still has most of the elements from the old one, but with all of the unnecessary noise removed. The new logo will likely be more consumable for fans and easier to recognize.

Rogue debuts new logo as part of 2021 rebrand

Rogue may hope that its new logo inspires a new standard of performance. Rogue has been mostly recognized for its achievements on the League of Legends scene in 2020, where it managed to qualify for the 2020 World Championship. The team finished fifth in the 2020 LEC Spring Split but managed to take everyone by storm in summer. Rogue finished first place in the regular split but had to settle with a third-place finish in the playoffs after being knocked out by G2 Esports. The squad failed to deliver at the World Championship however, getting knocked out in the group stage.

Rogue’s performance in 2020 was completely unexpected, as the team failed to deliver in 2019. Rogue was one of the new organizations to enter League of Legends after buying a spot in the LEC. The 2020 season has been proof that Rogue’s hard work and development is working, making it a very interesting team to follow in the upcoming season.

While Rogue is mostly known from the League of Legends scene, the organization is also active in Rocket League, Rainbow Six Siege, and Apex Legends. Rogue had a pro team in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, but released its roster in 2019. Since then, Rogue has put its primary focus on LoL with some success.

The Rogue LEC team will be back on Summoner’s Rift when the LEC kicks off on January 22.

What is the 2021 LEC Rogue lineup?

After a successful 2020 season, Rogue is looking to go even further in 2021. To do that, Rogue has made a change in the top lane and support positions. Both changes could potentially pay off, but it’s impossible to tell before the team hits Summoner’s Rift for the 2021 LEC Spring Split.

The 2021 LEC Rogue lineup is:

  • Top – Andrei “Odoamne” Pascu
  • Jungle – Kacper “Inspired” Słoma
  • Mid – Emil “Larssen” Larsson
  • Bot – Steven “Hans Sama” Liv
  • Support – Adrian “Trymbi” Trybus

Who owns Rogue?

Rogue was founded in 2016 and is owned by ReKTGlobal Inc. The organization is operated by Franklin Villarreal, Derek Nelson, Carson Knuth, and partly owned by DJ Steve Aoki. The company behind Rogue is based in Las Vegas, but the esports organization has fielded teams from all around the world.
