The recently retired bot lane legend Yiliang “Doublelift” Peng ends his long career with some of the most impressive stats ever seen in the LCS.

With Doublelift entering the next stage in his life, LoL Esports shared some of his career stats, and they are by all means impressive. Doublelift has been competing since the very first World Championship back in 2011 and has since then attended numerous international events, won many trophies, and gotten a lot of kills.

According to LoL Esports, Doublelift ends his career with a 63% win rate and over 2000 kills in total. He has played 486 LCS games in his career, which has gotten him eight LCS trophies in total. Four of these trophies were with Team Liquid that he joined in 2017, three were with Team SoloMid, and the another was with CLG in Madison Square Garden.

Furthermore, Doublelift has attended a total of eight World Championships, but only managed to get out of groups at his first such event back in 2011. There have been a lot of memes around Doublelift and his Worlds performances, but he will remain one of the players to attend most World Championships in total. Doublelift’s best international result was his 2019 Mid-Season Invitational final appearance with Liquid, where he lost to G2 Esports after upsetting Invictus Gaming.

Looking at his champion pool, Doublelift has played Tristana the most with 46 games in total. Sivir is right behind her with 43 games, followed up by his famous Vayne in 29 games. Throughout all these games, Doublelift has gotten himself four pentakills.

Doublelift will be remembered as the best North American player ever and will likely keep that title for many years to come. What Doublelift will be doing next is still unknown.

What happened to Doublelift?

After a mixed 2020 season, Doublelift has made the decision to retire after many years as a professional player. Doublelift started out 2020 with a poor split at Team Liquid, followed up by returning to his old team TSM for the 2020 LCS Summer Split. Doublelift and the squad ended up winning the split, which gave him a ticket to the last World Championship of his career. It’s unknown what Doublelift will be doing next.

What team was Doublelift on in 2020?

Doublelift started out 2020 on Team Liquid but ended the year and his career with TSM. Doublelift played for Team Liquid for over two years, winning four LCS trophies in a row. His time on TSM adds up to over two years as well in total.

Why did Doublelift rejoin TSM?

Doublelift joined TSM for the second time after his worst split at Team Liquid. Doublelift looked burned out during the 2020 LCS Spring Split, which ultimately got him benched for a short period of time. The team ended up in ninth place and that resulted in Doublelift returning to TSM to improve his motivation and chances of winning another trophy.
